Depending on the agreements between Portugal and your country, a visa may be required to enter Portugal.

To enter Portugal foreign citizens require:

  • A travel document valid for at least 3 months more than the length of the intended stay.
  • Be in possession of a valid visa that is appropriate for purpose of the stay. This visa should always be requested from a Portuguese diplomatic mission or consulate based abroad.
  • Be in possession of sufficient means for subsistence for the duration of the stay.
  • Not be included on the common list nor on the national list of non-admissible persons.

Letter of Invitation

A letter of invitation to attend the meeting and enter Portugal may be required by citizens of some countries. This letter can be obtained by writing to admin@icann-lisboa.pt
